The Persian Touch

“I love NM Tea Company—I have been a fan since day one! For this photo we were actually drinking Pomegranate Pai Mu Tan.”

A lady is holding an ornate metal tray full of red glass little persian tea cups and saucers with gold etching on them and a couple of rock sugar sticks.

“I love NM Tea Company—I have been a fan since day one! For this photo we were actually drinking Pomegranate Pai Mu Tan. My Auntie was bringing the tea, as it’s Persian culture to serve the tea in smaller ornate tea glasses. It’s small so it cools faster and you can drink your tea quicker. In Persian tradition, we drink tea all day long, hence why we serve it in smaller portions. I took this photo of her because it was all picturesque and reminded me of my home in Shiraz, Iran.” Thank you to Sara from @alchemy.medbar for the photo submission!
